The dataset for Bridging.App services was initially created in May 2018, after pausing the project during the covid pandemic the dataset was created afresh in early 2022. After the domain Finance.New was acquired the dataset became the starting basis for the full Finance.New dataset (to include development finance, buy-to-let finance, and a few others).
As bridging finance is a fast moving industry, the data set is to be maintained for the regions we operate on a daily basis, in the hope that the dataset will yield in-time fiducial markers from the bridging industry that might indicate macro scale trends of use to a wider group of finance providers. Whereas institutional minded bridging lenders might pre-plan offerings on a quarterly basis the Bridging.App project and 's datasets may allow more agile lenders to product test and offer refined landscape-sensitive offerings on a on a much shorter basis.
